This original mixed media artwork features a Weeping European Beech tree found in Wilcox Park, located in Westerly, Rhode Island. Created during my artist residency, the piece combines delicate graphite drawing, and soft washes of watercolor. The incorporation of local maps anchors the tree to its Rhode Island roots, inviting viewers to explore the connection between place, memory, and landscape.
It measures 10" x 20", mounted on a sturdy backboard and protected in a clear sleeve, ready for framing.
